I actually did something today!

Normally on my days off I lay around the house and do nothing productive. I'm just worn out from work and on top of that I think the pregnancy's making me more lethargic as well. Except for today. Today I felt awesome from the get go. Happy as a clam and all that jazz. (Why are clams so dang happy?)

I did however still spend the first half of my day sitting in front of the computer. I paid some bills and leveled up on CSI: Crime City (seriously, best Facebook game ever). I took a shower and the baby bump is all clean and shiny now.
I then went to the mall since my best friend was actually going to be in town (she goes to school a VERY long hour away). I'm almost to the mall and she calls me to tell me she locked her keys in her car. At least she still had two hours before she had to be anywhere. After getting that taken care of we walked around the mall and I took advantage of Claire's 10 for $10 deal. Yeah, I'm almost 22 and I still shop at Claire's. What of it?

I went in there only looking for stud earrings since I haven't worn earrings in what seems like forever. I also needed small ones because holding the phone at work between your ear and shoulder really starts to hurt when you have bulky earrings on.
I'm pretty excited that I found so many. That's a total of 19 pairs of earrings. I'm pretty excited to wear the eyeglass ones to work tomorrow. I don't know why I enjoy jewelry that has to do with my job so much.

I also found a super cute pair of knee socks. With bows! They may look black, but they're navy. Not that it matters. I'm gonna wear them with everything. Except, not now. Because it's actually getting warm and I'm going barefoot or sandalled EVERYWHERE. Another except. Except work. Because we have to have close toed shoes. I might pull a "well my pregnancy is causing my feet to swell and I can only wear sandals" in a month or two. Although, now that I mention that I'll probably get dreadfully swelled feet. Darn it.

Oh, and those adorable little bows are for my niece. I'm not that childish and/or girly, really. Plus I don't even know if the baby in my belly is a girl, so there's no need to get those for her(?) this early. Chloe will look super adorable in them, if she'll keep them in. We'll find out Sunday.

Eek, I almost forgot about my elephant earrings! I was on an animal jewelry kick for a little bit (probably thanks to Indiana at Adored Austin). I have an elephant necklace from F21 that Jarrod's best friend/my coworker named Eduardo. Do you think wearing the necklace with the earrings is a bit too much? Although, I'm not sure I'd care :)

Ugh. I am MORE than ready to know what my baby IS. I mean, I'm obviously not gonna be upset either way, but I just wanna KNOW. I'm not a very patient person. This has been a long four and a half months and it's going to be another long four and a half months. Hey! I am halfway there though.
