Odds & Ends

The other day J was playing with Quinn on our bed while I got dressed to go grocery shopping. When I was done he wouldn't get up to go put his shoes on (he's like a little kid sometimes, haha) so I started poking him. He leaned over and his underwear poked up out of his pants so I thought "Wedgie!". Unfortunately for him when I yanked up only his waistband moved and his underwear ripped. It was absolutely hilarious and I was having a hard time breathing from laughing so hard. Quinn was very confused! He says they were a good pair and they died faithfully.

In other news, this week has been kind of boring. Today I got my bake on and made Sour Cream Raspberry Cupcakes with the buttercream frosting from this recipe. My frosting was SUPER liquidy (which isn't a word?) so I remade it changing the 1/4 cup of milk to 1 Tbs of milk and it was still rather liquidy. IDK. At least they're yummy, right? I did dye some shredded coconut green and add some jellybeans as a surprise for my step-dad since that's what his mom used to do. Don't worry about him finding out, I don't think he knows what a blog is! I also made Resurrection Rolls and left some as plain crescents.

Speaking of Easter, I finally got Quinn's dress done! Actually, it was done earlier this week (maybe late last week?). I don't want to post pictures of it until after Easter though so it'll still be a mystery to you, tee hee. The zipper was actually easy. It was the arm holes & binding I had issues with. No bueno, I tell you. They're not the prettiest, but they'll work. Crap. I was going to make her a bib to match. Eh. I'm not dragging all that stuff out now. Sorry for that train of thought you had to follow for a minute. I started thinking and just kept typing.

Hmmm... I need to do another Project 366 update. Maybe I'll do that now. Depends on how much longer the bambina sleeps.
