Quinn was born at 2:40 pm on August 30, 2011. We brought her home at 4:00 pm on September 2, 2011. She hated the car ride home.
She had almost no hair, but what she had was super blonde so it didn't show up in pictures. She's also got her daddy's blue eyes.
The weirdest things make her giggle and she has an adorable laugh.
Currently she has six teeth (four top, two bottom) and knows how to use them. I have the hardest time trying to brush her teeth.
She still loves sticking everything in her mouth and tends to lick you if you get too close.
She loves music and will dance to anything. She especially likes Africa by Toto and the Buff Baby song from Adventure Time.
Now that she can walk it's rare that she'll crawl and even more rare that she'll sit or lay down. This baby likes to be on the move.
She gets fussy if she's stuck inside too much so sometimes we'll just go walk around Wal-Mart if the weather doesn't cooperate.
She'll smile at almost anybody, but isn't terribly fond of men she doesn't know. She gets the happiest when seeing Nana (my mom), Grandma D (Jarrod's mom), and Daddy (of course!).
She is so adorable I just can't stand it at times. I just hug and squeeze her and then she smacks me so I'll let go.
She knows when she wants something and she'll point at it. She's pretty laid back if she doesn't get it, but if she gets something she's not supposed to have and you take it away? Watch out! She throws a nasty two second tantrum and then gets distracted by something else. Unless she's tired. If she's tired and angry it's no bueno.
I am so beyond blessed to be Quinn's mom. I can already see so much personality in her and while I don't want time to go by too fast, I can't wait to see what she's like as she grows up.

What a coincidence as I am happy when I see her too! Your post made me cry, but in a good way. Yes, being Quinn's mom is a blessing...so is being her Nana!
