| Linking up with Brooke :) |
In January I attempted to do Project 366. If you haven't noticed, I kind of failed. Quinn got babysat for the first time while I went and saw Sherlock Holmes. Quinn also fully moved to the bottle and off of sleeping on me aka the BIGGEST accomplishment for us. I showed you how messy my apartment was. It's gotten a little better.
In February I baked and sometimes failed. Jarrod and I got to go on our first date since Quinn was born. I got a sewing machine and haven't used it as much as I'd like. I didn't post very much, but I was still doing Project 366. I also put some pink in my hair. I think Quinn started crawling around this time, but I'm not sure where her baby book is to check.
In March I wrote a letter to my 16 year old self. Continuing with Project 366, I actually got a family picture that represents us well. In that same post I finally started reading "The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest" but still haven't finished it. I was lazy and blogged about my to-do list instead of doing it. I participated in Alyx's confessions and I'd like to confess I'm still loving Jennifer Lawrence. Any movie she's in that Netflix has is in my queue. (Sidenote: queue is a funny word) This month I also fit back into my pre-preggo jeans. Those same jeans just happened to rip a few days ago. I am le sad. I also revealed my blog to my Facebook (aka real life) friends. It was not as momentous or scary as I thought it would be.
In April Jarrod's underwear died when I gave him a wedgie. I found out who my doppelgangers are, including some Asian women and a young Jensen Ackles. I finally wrote about Easter and you really should look at that because I MADE Quinn's dress. Still doing Project 366 and I was SHOCKED at how not little my little brother is, got some pictures of myself, and dyed a pair of pants green.
In May I had a failed attempt at starting a link up. I was naive in just how many "Friday Fashion" type link ups there are in blog land. My first Mother's Day came and I wrote about my own mom. I also wrote a little bit about Jarrod. I also wrote about myself in a "blogger challenge" that I never finished. I also participated in my first blog swap and my mom was the person who got to give me a gift!
In June I kept posting Friday's Fancies (hosted by [av]) and it's something else I haven't done lately. BUT I haven't fully given up on it, yet. I made a to-do list and dyed my hair blue. I had my first guest blogger and it was my mom writing about me. Quinn got an actual update post. She was almost ten months old then. I also vlogged for the first time! Maybe another one will come up soon? The highlight of the month was taking Jarrod to the Star Wars exhibit for Father's Day. This is also the first month I got an Influenster VoxBox. If you'd like to join, let me know. It's pretty awesome to get free samples in the mail to review.
In July we had a clothing war. Seriously one of my favorite memories. If you don't read any other past post of mine, check that one out. I had forgotten about Project 366 and had a TON of pictures to catch up on. I hit 40 followers which was momentous and now I'm up to 115! That is crazy to me. Random posts happened and I had to walk home pushing a stroller in a dress and heeled boots because of a flat tire. I made a 23 in 23 list and already know a few of them are not gonna happen. I updated my June to-do list. At the end of the month Quinn started walking!
In August I turned 23 and Quinn turned ONE!!! I became even more Suzy Homemaker-y and planned meals and cooked up a storm. I found a hilarious video that I feel like I must share again. I posted monthly pictures to recap Quinn's first year. I also think this is when I put purple over the blue in my hair. We also decided to move a bit South to be closer to family even though it's further away from Jarrod's work.
In September we had Quinn's birthday party in my parents' back yard. It was pretty fun :) Jarrod and I had another date night. They are few and far between, but they do still happen! I also didn't post much because we had started packing and getting ready to move.
In October I posted some confessions because I didn't have much else to write. Being Halloween time I posted about some past costumes. And I'm realizing I still haven't posted about the costumes we actually wore this year. We went to the Pumpkin Patch, but I didn't write about it until December. I hit 100 GFC followers this month! We moved at the end of the month and I wore myself out.
In November I could finally link up with Brooke and her "A Look Back" link up. And then I completely skipped over December's. I also wrote up some advice for moving with a baby/toddler. While I was excited to finally get to go shopping on Black Friday again, I was mad at some of the changes. However, I did get Jarrod's amazing motorcycle jacket on Black Friday so it was all worth it.
In December I finally wrote about our trip to the Pumpkin Patch. Quinn had her second Christmas and was spoiled! She's playing with her big "Santa" gift right now and she's just too adorable. This year had some tough times, but all in all it was pretty good. I can't imagine that next year will be any different!

This is now one of my favorite posts. I love your outlook on life and your devotion to Q & J is very apparent. I'm so proud to be your mom!
I love that I'm not the only one who starts things on the blog and doesn't finish them. I feel like I've started series and not finished them on multiple occasions. And there are so many link ups out there, I swear! Happy new year! ...even though its late.
Love it! I didn't start reading your blog until half way through the year so I had to go back and look at a few of those. And pictures of Quinn never get old. By the way. I went ahead and made the pics in mine bigger!
Okay that Christmas card - so frigging cute. And I'm so glad you did this review of 2012 since I haven't been around from the beginning, totally awesome!
