Superman (Clark Kent): Henry Cavill
According to Jarrod, he did a pretty good job as Superman so he can stay. I haven't seen the movie, but he looks the part to me. Not gonna lie, Superman's never been one of my faves. I don't dislike him, but I prefer others. Still gotta like him enough for representing the boring fly-over of Kansas though! Jarrod did say that he could have done better as Clark Kent though, probably more of a script issue. The biggest issue was *SPOILER ALERT* Clark stealing clothes in the movie, whereas Clark Kent would not do that. Or if he absolutely had to, he'd leave a note or something. Clark is a good ol' Kansas boy after all.
Wonder Woman (Diana Prince): Gina Carano
Wonder Woman is BY FAR my favorite superhero and if they cast some thin actress, who couldn't believably throw a punch I will be MAD. Wonder Woman is an Amazonian warrior. She was not a small woman, she was 6'0" and made of muscle. Not crazy muscle, mind you, but she was not skin and bones. Gina Carano (in Haywire, which was awesome and you should watch it, by the way) used to be an MMA fighter AND she can act. If she isn't cast, I honestly have no idea who could do it. Plus, Gina's gorgeous and looks like Wonder Woman. Perfect casting, if I do say so myself. It could be a little awkward on set because she used to date Henry Cavill. Eh, they'll get over it. The only substitution for Gina Carano I'll take is Genevieve Padalecki.
Batman (Bruce Wayne): Jensen Ackles
Apparently they offered Christian Bale over $50 million to reprise his role and he said no. Thank you Christian Bale, thank you. I enjoyed him as Batman for a little while, but the whole gruff voice thing got annoying. I think Jensen would do an amazing job (if you don't watch Supernatural, you really should) and he LOVES Batman. I think that should almost be a prerequisite for playing a superhero.
Robin (Richard "Dick" Grayson):
I still haven't figured this one out. Any ideas?
Hawkgirl (Shayera Hol): Bridget Regan
I've never actually seen Bridget Regan in anything, so this is based purely on how she looks and what's on her IMDb. This is another case of needing a strong woman and not just a pretty face. Hawkgirl has a temper, but she is a redhead so it makes sense.
Green Lantern (John Stewart): Sinqua Walls
I'm a bigger fan of the John Stewart Green Lantern than the Hal Jordan version. Obviously if they go with Hal Jordan then Ryan Reynolds should come back. Even though that movie kind of sucked, he did a good job as Hal Jordan. Now, I've only seen Sinqua Walls as Lancelot in Once Upon a Time, but I really liked him and I think he'd do a good job.
Flash (Wally West): James Roday
I don't know how many of you watch Psych, but James Roday's character (Shawn) pretty much has Wally West's personality already. I think he'd do a great job on a big movie and he needs more exposure because he's hilarious. He's not naturally a ginger, but I think he could pull it off.
Martian Manhunter (J'onn J'onzz): Djimon Hounsou
He's a Martian, obviously, so really anybody of any race could play him. I think Djimon Hounsou has the perfect voice, though. If they do make-up or CGI or however they do J'onn J'onzz (pretty much pronounced John Jones) it doesn't really matter to me, but they need someone who can command a strong presence with their voice alone.
Black Canary (Dinah Lance): Katie Cassidy
I absolutely love Katie Cassidy and really wanted her in here somewhere. Luckily, I think she's perfect for Black Canary. Obviously, they can't have every single Justice League member in the movie so these are just suggestions, but I think she'd be fun to have.
Supergirl (Kara Kent):
I'm sure Supergirl will show up somewhere if they keep doing Superman movies (she should!), but I have no idea who'd play her.
Green Arrow (Oliver Queen): Stephen Amell
I don't watch the show, but I hear he does a good job so why mess it up? Plus, he's not too bad to look at.
He's pretty important in the Superman universe, but I just cannot figure out who to cast. The cartoon just makes him seem like a large, brooding man so I think casting someone other than Kevin Spacey would be a good idea.
Joker: Matt Smith
Quick confession: I don't watch Doctor Who. I know, I'm a horrible Tumblr-er. Jarrod and I did watch one where something was in the Doctor's brain and he was playing both it and the Doctor. They were playing chess, if you know what episode that is. Anyway, Jarrod mentioned that he'd be a good Joker and I think that might have been what started this post in the first place. Besides, he needs something to do now that he's not the Doctor anymore.
Harley Quinn (Harleen Quinzell): Nicki Aycox or Rachel Miner
If Wonder Woman is my favorite superhero, then Harley Quinn is BY FAR my favorite villain. And you cannot have the Joker without Harley. It's a rule. And I was not happy that there was no Harley in The Dark Knight. To be honest, I'm not 100% sure in my casting for this one. There's no one that springs to mind, but I think either Nicki or Rachel would do a great job. They both played Meg in Supernatural (yeah, the third and fourth actors from that show that I've cast) and are great actresses.
Catwoman (Selina Kyle): Lana Parrilla
Oh my goodness. I don't know that there has been a better actress for Catwoman than Lana Parrilla. She's the perfect Evil Queen on Once Upon a Time too, so really she's just amazing.
