There might be a giveaway at the end of this post, if you can manage to get through it all.
Disclaimer: I was compensated with a free 8x10 canvas print, but all opinions are my own.
We started December with my youngest sister's 16th birthday. Quinn and I made her some art that matches her room. One is just Quinn's finger painting and the other has lyrics from Rent.
Quinn got her first ponytail! Granted, it's only one of two at this point because she doesn't like me messing with her hair.
My mom, older sister, and I went to our church's women's Christmas breakfast. These were our table decorations, provided by my mom and sister.
ETA: I was (very kindly) informed that I forgot that my aunt was there too. I feel so bad! She drove three hours to come with us. I'm so sorry Aunt Crystal! I love you!
Quinn helped Jarrod exercise. I just cheered them on and took pictures because I'm a lazy bum.
While wrapping presents Quinn discovered one that I didn't hide very well. Her pirate face is adorable, but I didn't manage to get a picture of it.
We always go out to dinner at a restaurant as a family around Christmas. This year we had sixteen people. The grandkids (3), their parents (4), my parents (2), their other kids (4), Jarrod's mom and sister (2), and my aunt (1). I was expecting Quinn to have NONE of it, but she behaved really well. Afterward it was too early to head to the church service (which she didn't do well at, too loud in the sanctuary) so we got ice cream.
Jarrod's birthday is a week before Christmas and our anniversary is the first, so the entire month is a little crazy, but I kind of enjoy it. Jarrod and I celebrated our anniversary by seeing Thor 2 and going to Red Robin in November. For his birthday we had a low key dinner at his mom's. He's an entire 25 now and I get to joke about him being an old man for another seven months.
The first snow of the year, we had to take Quinn out at least once. It wasn't good quality for snowmen or throwing snowballs, so Quinn played by "shoveling" the snow with an ice scraper. Unfortunately one of us left a door open on Jarrod's car so he had to take mine (that lovely white SUV that's new (to us) and awesome), but it's all fixed now so we're good.
Christmas Eve was spent at my sister's, but not until the evening so we let Quinn open up a few presents to tide her over.
The only picture I have of Quinn and I in our Christmas jammies. I really want to get another picture like last year's.
Christmas morning we opened up our stockings.
Then went over to my MIL's and opened up some more presents.
And I was able to get this super cute picture of Quinn from our night out at dinner turned into an 8x10 canvas print thanks to Easy Canvas Prints. The quality is great and I learned that it's easy to clean because someone (Quinn, of course) decided to put her sticky hands all over it. I was also super impressed with how quickly it arrived. I had a small issue with getting the website to load properly, but after I threatened Google Chrome it was so easy. You can even upload straight from Instagram or Facebook.
I am so bad about actually getting pictures printed, let alone doing something cool like a canvas print so I'm so thankful that I was able to get this. Quinn loves it too.
Easy Canvas Prints is being awesome and offering the chance for one of you to win a free 8x10 canvas print too! Or, if you can't wait, there are some awesome coupon codes that you can use right now. If you're patient, use the Rafflecopter to enter the giveaway!
